Projet OPEDUCA - «  Spring Event  » à l'Université de Bretagne Sud - Vannes - les 6 et 7 Mai 2014

Dans le cadre du Projet OPEDUCA, un «  Spring Event  » sur l'importance des  techniques de représentation des connaissances sous forme graphique dans l'Education s'est déroulé à l'Université de Bretagne Sud, Tohannic, Vannes,  les 6 et 7 Mai 2014.

Le principe des Mind Maps et des Concept Maps pour l'Education a été abordé par divers intervenants européens sur les thèmes suivants  :
- Les Mind Maps, un outil pédagogique et didactique performant dans le Secondaire  : expérimentation en classe dans les différentes matières enseignées, avantages, analyse d'exemples divers, synthèse des observations  ;
- Rappel du Projet OPEDUCA en tant que nouvelle approche de l'enseignement et de l'apprentissage  ;
- Elaboration d'un Mind Map synthétique de référence facilitant les diverses analyses  des résultats obtenus dans différents pays ayant mis en place le Projet Opeduca : définition, construction et récapitulation des avantages pour les divers apprentissages  ;
- Représentation des connaissances pour un savoir de haute qualité  : les trois types graphiques  : Mind Maps, Concept Maps et Argumentation Maps, leur différenciation et leurs objectifs spécifiques, les 5 étapes du concept mapping.
Des discussions ouvertes se sont ensuivies durant ces deux journées.
Des articles seront rédigés et publiés comme prolongement de ce Spring Event



 

 

PROJET OPEDUCA - Troisième réunion des partenaires à l'Université de SIAULIAI, Lituanie,  les 17 et 18 Mars 2015

Dans le cadre de la seconde année du Projet OPEDUCA intitulée  : la «  Business Class  », les partenaires se sont retrouvés à l'Université de Siauliai, Lituanie, et ont partagé leur expérience  en cours. Etant donné la diversité des types de classes impliquées, ce partage a été des plus enrichissant.

Parallèlement des visites ont été organisées au Siauliu Didzdvario gymnasium et au Siauliu Jovaro progymnasium ; les élèves de diverses tranches d'âge avaient préparé des spectacles, chants, danses traditionnelles. Une visite à la Colline aux Croix et à la fabrique de chocolat de Siauliai, où les visiteurs ont été invités à fabriquer par eux-mêmes des chocolats, ont complété ce séjour très dense.

Neuvième Conférence Mondiale des Centres Régionaux d'Expertise en Education pour le Développement Durable (9th Global RCE Conference) 4-8 Novembre 2014

OKAYAMA - Japon

La 9ème conférence Mondiale des RCEs s'est tenue à OKAYAMA, au Japon, du 4 au 8 Novembre 2014, sous l'égide de l'UNU-IAS (Université des Nations Unies - Institut des Hautes Etudes en Durabilité) et de l'ESD Okayama (Education pour le Développement Durable).
Elle a clôturé la première Décennie de l'Education pour le Développement Durable (phase de création des RCEs et d'implantation de  projets) et inauguré la seconde Décennie (2015-2025), phase d'intensification des projets dans le cadre d'un Programme d'Action Mondial (Global Action Programme de l'UNESCO).

"Outil  de transformation pour le changement, les RCEs s'engagent à appliquer les stratégies au coeur des priorités du Programme d'Action Mondial en Education pour le Développement Durable, en mettant en oeuvre des actions en faveur d'une politique avancée, d'une transformation des environnements  d'apprentissage et de formation,  du renforcement des capacités des éducateurs et des formateurs, de l'autonomisation et de la mobilisation de la jeunesse, et de l'accélération des solutions durables à l'échelon local."

Le RCE Bretagne a représenté la France à cette Conférence Mondiale.

Cette conférence mondiale a été suivie par  la Conférence Mondiale de l'UNESCO sur l'ESD - Apprendre Aujourd'hui pour un Avenir Durable - qui s'est tenue à Aichi-Nagoya, Japon, du 10 au 12 Novembre 2014, et qui a débouché sur la formulation des 17 Objectifs de Développement Durable à concrétiser.

Le Projet OPEDUCA - Seconde réunion des partenaires, 3 et 4 Juin 2014 - Gheorghe Sincai Theoretical High School - ZALAU - Roumanie

Neuf pays d'Europe étaient représentés à cette seconde réunion des partenaires du Projet OPEDUCA, dont la France, à travers le Lycée Lesage de Vannes et l'Université de Bretagne Sud, Vannes.
Chaque pays a fait le compte rendu de la façon dont la première partie du Projet, l"Envol vers la connaissance" (Flight for knowledge) avait été abordée en classe à travers la technique des cartes conceptuelles ; des diaporamas ont été présentés. En ce qui concerne la France, les cartes conceptuelles établies par les élèves de STI2D ont été visualisées, et l'Université de Bretagne Sud a présenté l'analyse qui en a été faite par le Laboratoire de Mathématiques. Un rapport général détaillé va être élaboré au cours des prochains mois.
La seconde partie du projet, la "Business Class", va se mettre en place à la prochaine rentrée scolaire. Un groupe international de recherche a été constitué, et les échanges entre les différents pays se feront par Internet.

REUNION DE LANCEMENT DU PROJET OPEDUCA (Graz-Autriche ; 0-31/10/2013)

Le CRE Bretagne a participé à la première réunion des partenaires du Projet OPEDUCA qui s'est tenue à l'Université Karl-Franzens de Graz, Autriche, les 30 et 31 Octobre 2013. Au cours de cette réunion, il a représenté le Lycée Lesage de Vannes et le Laboratoire de Mathématiques de l'Université de Bretagne Sud, Vannes.

Le Projet vise à développer des régions éducatives ouvertes à un enseignement et un apprentissage orientés vers l'avenir,  quels que soient le temps, le lieu, le mode d'enseignement ou le dispositif. Il a été reconnu par l'Union Européenne et fondé le 12 Avril 2013. Voir sur Facebook.

 

 

 

COLLOQUE "LES PLUMES DE RHUYS" (Sarzeau - 4-5/10/2013)

 

L'Association "Symposium 56", avec l'aide de la "Société des Etudes Lesagiennes", et le soutien de l'Association "Centre Histoire de Bretagne", a organisé un colloque le 4 Octobre 2013 au Lycée Lesage de Vannes, et le 5 Octobre 2013 au Collège de Rhuys, Sarzeau, intitulé "Les Plumes de Rhuys", et portant sur le thème des écrivains de la presqu'île de Rhuys, Morbihan, de l'Antiquité à nos jours, en passant par l'époque du Moyen Age, le XVIIIème siècle avec Alain-René Lesage, les écrivains modernes et les écrivains contemporains.

CONFERENCES INTERNATIONALES à partir de 2017

European RCE meeting 2017 at Fair-Friends in Dortmund, North-Rhine-Westfalia, September 2017

​

Conférence européenne des RCEs au Salon Fair-Friends de Dortmund - 8 et 9  Septembre 2017

​

Cette conférence européenne 2017 des RCEs s'est déroulée dans le cadre du Salon "Fair-Friends" qui s'est tenu à Dortmund du 7 au 10 Septembre 2017 sur le thème du Développement Durable. De nombreux RCEs européens y ont participé, et l'UNU-IAS était également présente, représentée par Madame Zinaida Fadeeva.

​

La conférence a été inaugurée par Manitonquat (né en 1929) qui nous a montré sa façon de construire une unité au sein d'une communauté par la "méthode du cercle", puis de nombreux sujets ont été abordés sur le thème majeur et actuel de l'intégration de l'Education pour le Développement Durable (EDD) dans le curriculum des systèmes éducatifs ; le thème de l'Education pour le Développement Durable dans les écoles professionnelles, et celui des outils nécessaires à une introduction réussie de cette EDD, entre autres, ont donné lieu à une réflexion. Par ailleurs le rôle possible des RCEs dans la question des Migrants a été également abordé, de même que, d'une manière générale, le thème également majeur des Objectifs de Développement Durable (ODD) : par exemple la question de la production et de la consommation, mais aussi comment promouvoir un engagement et une action significatifs dans la réalisation du Programme d'Action Mondial à travers les ODD au sein des RCEs.

​

Des ateliers de discussion et d'échange entre RCEs ont permis d'approfondir la réflexion, d'envisager des solutions. et des liens se sont créés avec les nouveaux RCEs : des échanges ultérieurs auront lieu.

​

La visite du Salon a été source d'un grand intérêt de par la variété des stands et leur originalité ; l'esthétique des présentations et la mise en valeur des ODD concernés ont enrichi la perception que l'on peut avoir de réalisations concrètes et fascinantes.

​

Cette conférence qui s'est déroulée dans de très bonnes conditions et dans une atmosphère sympathique et amicale, s'est clôturée par le Cercle de Manitonquat où chacun a exprimé ce qu'il avait retenu de cette conférence, et qui l'avait enrichi.

​

First RCE Thematic Conference: Towards Achieving the SDGs - (OKAYAMA, Japan, 5-7 December 2017)

Première Conférence thématique des RCEs : vers la réalisation des Objectifs de développement Durable (Okayama, Japon ; 5-7 Décembre 2017)

​

Le RCE Bretagne a été invité par l'UNU-IAS (Université des Nations Unies, Institut des Hautes Etudes de Développement Durable), et le RCE Okayama, à cette première Conférence internationale Thématique dont le but était d'approfondir certains domaines de l'Education pour le Développement durable. Ainsi, trois Objectifs de Développement Durable avaient été sélectionnés : le changement climatique, la biodiversité et les services écosystémiques, ainsi que la Consommation et la production durables (systèmes alimentaires).

​

Les RCEs ont eu la possibilité de partager leurs meilleures pratiques et politiques liées à l'éducation sur l'une des trois thématiques déterminées. Des ateliers étaient prévus pour des échanges et des discussions, de manière à approfondir davantage ces thématiques, mais aussi en partant de la perspective des divers cadres internationaux des Nations Unies.

​

La Conférence a conduit à davantage d'unité et de cohésion entre les différents RCEs travaillant dans des domaines similaires. C'était aussi l'un des buts recherchés.

​

La Conférence s'est terminée par une session plénière établissant un rapport d'ensemble et proposant une réflexion générale à partir du travail effectué dans les différentes sessions en petits groupes, présentée par le Dr. Unnikrishnan Payyappallimana, de l'UNU-IAS, le Dr. Riyanti Djalante (UNU-IAS), le Dr. Zinaida Fadeeva (Conseillère en Consommation et Production Durables pour cette première Conférence thématique), mais encore par les rapporteurs des diverses sessions. Les participants ont été invités à faire part de leurs réflexions, et le Professeur Mario Tabucanon (UNU-IAS) a présenté une récapitulation de la Conférence.

​

Une visite de la ville d'Okayama a été organisée le dernier jour, qui a permis de visiter des établissements scolaires impliqués dans les thématiques concernées, et des sites centrés sur l'observation de la nature ainsi que des usines de biomasse. Enfin, nous avons sacrifié à la tradition nationale (National Knowledge) en visitant une usine de fabrication de bière, de gin et de saké.

The European RCE Meeting was hosted by RCE Brittany, France, and was held at "Université de Bretagne Sud", Tohannic, Vannes. The meeting was attended by twenty RCEs from thirteen countries : Austria (RCE Euregion tyrol), China (RCE Hangzhu), Czechia (RCE Czechia), Denmark (RCE Denmark), Finland (RCE Helsinky Metropolitant) France (RCE Bordeaux Aquitaine, RCE Brittany, RCE Paris Seine), Germany (RCE  Nuremberg, Candidate RCE Oldenburger-Munsterland, RCE Ostwürttemberg-Aalen, RCE München), Greece (RCE Crete), United Kingdom (RCE Cymru, RCE East Midlands, RCE London) Poland (RCE Warsaw Metropolitan), Russia (RCE Nizhny Novgofov), Scotland (RCE Scotland) and Sweden (RCE Skâne). RCE Belarus, unhappily, could not come. Were represented : the Association Ecodemia, Belarus, and Imperial College, London. Dr. Kumi Tashiro, Deputy Director, Office of Environment Education, Ministry of Environment of Japan, Dr.Philip Vaughter, from United Nations University, Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS), and Dr. Jos Hermans, Regional Advisor to the RCE Community- Europe also attended the meeting.

The overarching theme of this meeting was : "ESD and the SDGs: how can RCEs coordinate both to achieve the SDGs?"

 

The meeting was supported by the United Nations University,  Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainablity (UNU-IAS), the Université de Bretagne Sud (UBS) , and the UBS Laboratory of Mathematics (LMBA).   The purpose of this conference was to share the projects and ideas of the different European countries on the proposed thematic, and share all the positive achievements that had been realized  concerning the SDGs they had chosen to explore  according to their local possibilities, and to strengthen the links between them  by a pooling of projects, in order to make the achieving of the SDGs possible.

​

On August 29th, 2018, after a short presentation of the overarching theme and the reasons of this choice by RCE Brittany, the meeting was officially opened by Dr.Kumi Tashiro, from the Office of Environment Education, Ministry of Environment of Japan, who emphasized on the importance of Education in Sustainable Development, the importance of UNU-IAS, and the importance of RCEs network. The networks must be strengthened and platforms must be created. Then Dr. Philip Vaughter, from UNU Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability explained the United Nations System, and announced the 11th Global conference 2018 in Cebu - in the Philippines, from December 7th to 9th 2018. Then he explained the principles of the new-look profile page, with its sub-sections, with for example a section for illustrative photos, and also photos of activities. This profile page takes the place of the annual reports, consequently all the projects must be described, the communication channels and contacts details must be mentioned. RCEs, then, are highly requested to update their RCE Profile Page.

​

Nineteen interventions and three workshops have followed on August 29th and 30th. The meeting was preceded by a welcome dinner on August 28th evening, and followed by a field trip on August 31st afternoon (discovery of the Gulf of Morbihan aboard a tourism boat).

​

It was a very lively conference with very interesting, various and very high quality presentations, with constructive discussions between the participants during the breaks and already working affinities or common themes to be explored in networks, all that suggesting interesting joint work opportunities for the coming time. The atmosphere of the meeting was particularly excellent.

 

Some Key topics

​

- Importance of the NGO COMMEET ; the subject is TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training, and Entrepreneurship). The aim is to help students who can't go to university. TVET must be a priority throughout the world. Furthermore, there are opportunities in TVET for migrants because it is an Entrepreneurship Education, the next step being: how sustainable migrants' entrepreneurships can develop regional community. There is a policy recommendation on curriculum development for Vocational Schools towards ESD, that is methods for Education for ESD competencies and curricula.

- Support for entrepreneurship projects financed by local companies

in some towns or countries.

 - Education has often been the topic developed by various RCEs, as: * "projects in Tertiary Education for SD", or: * "the project of learning cities", but also:

-  Introducing in primary schools the means  to reduce the production of energy and the use of resources

-  Rethinking the competencies in Basic education by introducing SDGs in school culture

-  Developing a school action plan inspired by the 17 SDGs

- SDGs and Statistics: Research on the interactions between the 17 SDGs and how to challenge students by interesting them to look for interactions by themselves

- Developing competencies for a socio-economic development, (Erasmus Project and Knowledge Alliance)

- Development of Centres of Excellence in CCSAFS (Climate Change, Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security) in Egypt (Cairo), and in Jerash University, Jordan, project financed by Erasmus. There will be major ESD Activities projects up to 2022.  

- The preservation of the heritage represented by nature in general, including the sea, has been the subject of various interventions.

Conclusion

A very big warm thank you to everyone, thank you for the help received, thank you for the quality of the interventions, but also the good mood, the enthusiasm, the warm relations, all this giving desire to work together more.

The conference was therefore motivating, the links between us were strengthened, and amplifying the collaborative work has appeared as an indispensable necessity.

EUROPE REGIONAL RCE MEETING 2019

13-14 September, 2019, Heraklion, Greece

The Europe Regional RCE Meeting 2019 was held in Heraklion, Greece, hosted by RCE Crete with the support of the United Nations University Institute of Advanced Study of Sustanaibility (UNU-IAS).

​

Twelve RCEs from ten countries attended this year's meeting under the theme  of :

"Climate Change,, Sustainable Agriculture, and Food Seurity,held in conjunction with the final project meeting of RCE Crete's Erasmus project - Climate change, Sustainable Agriculture, and Food Security (CCFASFS) - a Master's course development project initiated by RCE Crete and piloted by universities in Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon.

​

Throughout the two-day meeting, RCEs shared their work over the past year, including projects working with national government policies or local level policies on ESD, focusing on topics such as (but not limited to) llearning for sustainable agriculture, learning on sustainable consumption and production, and learning on biodiversity conservation.

​

Interactive sessions and workshops provided RCEs with the platform to discuss how to strengthen communication and collaboration within the region, how to engage with local and regional governments on ESD initiatives, and how to focus RCE activities on climate action. One of the outcomes on the workshop on climate change was to establish a working group on ESD for climate change actions among the European RCEs.

" Inspiration - Co-Creation - Dialogue - Networking"

Organized by SPARK RCE Fryslân, The Netherlands, in cooperation with UNU and the European RCE Network, RUG/Campus Fryslân, NHL Stenden, Circulair Fryslân, the Province of Fryslân and Leren voor Morgen.

The leading question of the program is: how can education accelerate the transition towards a sustainable society ?How to learn and use our imagination power for global challenges and regional impact ?

​

Sessions :

​

- How schools can offer learning environments that allow one to be and to become sustainable

- How education can help us to form thriving communities in which students, local entrepreneurs, governments and educators can work together for the SDGs

- Interaction, discussion and networking fully embracing the possibilities of our collective and creative thinking.

- How Art and Pedagogy can meet at school

- How attentive involvement helps to form relations from which new realities can be born

- Brainstorming in small groups

- Youngsters, educators, musicians and people from the RCE Network will give an input

- Getting together as RCE Network to discuss more European Collaboration, to share needs and wishes, and to lookforward to a physical get-together in May.

Participation of RCE Brittany :  a 3' video on the topic :"Inspiration, Intuition, Imagination and Action at the core of efforts to deal with climate change and its impacts in Brittany, as well as a formal and informal SDGs approach for the public."

" From ESD to SDGs : local and regional actions about Climate Change :

  OBSERVE - MIND - DISCOVER - ANTICIPATE - UNDERSTAND - ACT" :

  Climate actions engaged by local and regional associations achieve more

  targets than SDG 13' ones only, because of the interrelation between SDG 13

  and many other SDGs and their own targets.
